Robotics General Meeting

Today's Robotics meeting focused on the LEGO competition and finding small businesses. Some complications came up today. It turns out that some of our members have chem-lab that day. We all have very busy schedules at The Preuss School and it's quite amazing that we can be in a club like FIRST Robotics that requires such a huge amount of dedication. For example, I have been staying after school EVERYDAY because I have have UCSD class Mon, Wed, Fri and then I have Robotics/LEGO on Tues and Thur. Problems like the chem-lab tends to come up now and then and it teaches us how to prioritize and use time management.

Anyways, today proved that Pre-Planning has the most work to do (self-reminder: manuals & brochure). Also, the showing today was quite dissappointing. There weren't even enough members to fill up the LEGO-jobs sheet. Generally, people start showing up again around build-season, but the pre-season is also very important.
